In 1997 by a special resolution of top chiefs of Army, he received the Honoris Causa,Golden Condor prize. It is the greatest honor granted to a civilian climber by Argentinian Army.

Huayna Potosí (16), etc.; In Argentina Aconcagua (48) The highest mountain in the western hemisphere. He has also challenged the
Himalayas. In 1992 he became the first Peruvian to successfully
climb
Mt. Everest, (2) in 1998
Cho Oyu and in 1999 back to Everest, without oxygen, for the second time.

He is Tourism Technician, Trekking and Mountain Guide. He is finalizing his Degree in Recreation (oriented to the study of Social Sciences). He has more than 12 years of experience in diverse tourist activity in
Argentina and
Spain.
He is, at the moment, Technical responsible of the Tourism area of the National University of Cuyo. He is Professor of superior educative level institutions. He is assessor of many companies from the tourist activity among them AconcaguaTrek. He has developed his bilingual mountain work as guide in
Bolivia, Perú, Sapin and Argentine (
Patagonia, Cuyo and Northwest ).
He counts with 18 expeditions to
Aconcagua reaching its summit 6 times by three different routes.
